Beautiful malls as well. Try Jounieh and Batroun. Byblos Jbeil too. Still some good beach clubs too. You may also want to go up to Trablos (Tripoli). Tripoli is more religious rather than nightlife, but still some great restaurants and cafes. I do think Lebanon has rebuilt greatly since the Civil War, but sadly the economy is bad these days and sky high prices.
