Another example of that is “Holiday Inn” with Bing The Return of the Living Dead Way of Life shirt and Fred Astaire. They actually do a number together where they’re essentially fighting over a woman and Bing’a character says he’ll win her heart by singing and Fred’s character says he’ll win her heart by dancing, and they each go on to show off their skill in that particular area, and it’s fun to watch but also very impressive (at least to me) because nowadays it’s not the norm for every actor to be able to sing and/or dance.
